Crusher Operator
The Crusher Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the primary and secondary crushers, vertical shaft impactor (VSIs), screens, and multiple conveyor systems. This role ensures that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, equipment care, and operational discipline. The Crusher Operator also assists with routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and support smooth plant performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor primary crusher, VSI, screens, and conveyor belts to ensure continuous, efficient material flow.
- Conduct regular inspections of crushers, screens, and conveyors to identify and report potential safety hazards, mechanical issues, or abnormal operating conditions.
- Adjust settings, controls, and feeds to maintain desired throughput, product size, and quality specifications.
- Record production data, downtime, and maintenance activities in logs and shift reports.
- Perform routine housekeeping in and around crusher areas to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Support preventative maintenance programs, including lubrication, screen changes, and wear component replacement.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other operators regarding operational status, safety concerns, and repair needs.
- Adhere strictly to company safety policies, MSHA regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Assist maintenance teams with troubleshooting and repairs during planned and unplanned shutdowns.
- Participate in ongoing training to develop skills in both equipment operation and maintenance.
- Will operate heavy equipment such as loaders and skid steers.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in mining, aggregate, or industrial operations preferred.
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment and crushers, screens, or material handling equipment in mining or aggregate production strongly preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with ability to assist in troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
- Strong focus on safety and compliance; familiarity with MSHA standards is an asset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to climb, lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors in all weather conditions, and wear required PPE.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail in monitoring equipment and documenting work activities.

Crusher Maintenance Technician
The Crusher Maintenance Technician is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing the Company’s crushing and material handling equipment, including primary and secondary crushers, vertical shaft impactors (VSIs), screens, and conveyor belts. This role ensures equipment reliability, safe operation, and maximum production efficiency through proactive inspections, preventative maintenance, and effective troubleshooting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect crushers, screens, and conveyors regularly to identify wear, damage, or safety hazards.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including lubrication, adjustments, and replacement of wear parts.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in crushing and screening equipment.
- Safely execute tasks such as screen changes, belt splicing, bearing replacement, pulley alignment, and motor servicing.
- Monitor equipment during operation, responding promptly to unusual sounds, vibrations, or performance issues.
- Support crusher operators by providing guidance on safe equipment operation and reporting of issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, part usage, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with supervisors and planners to schedule planned shutdowns and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Follow lockout/tagout and other MSHA-required safety procedures at all times.
- Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory and ensure tools and equipment are in safe working order.
- Participate in training programs to remain current with best practices in crusher maintenance.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and belt conveyor systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance records.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance with MSHA standards.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs., climb, work at heights, and perform tasks in all weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment
This position involves working in active mining and processing environments with exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and varying weather conditions. PPE is required at all times.

Maintenance Foreman
The Maintenance Foreman supervises crew(s) of laborers in the safe installation and maintenance of plant/mine operations. The role oversees maintenance operations, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning efficiently to support our mining and processing activities. This position relies on a strong background in industrial maintenance, leadership, and experience in a mining environment, particularly with sulfide and oxide copper processing circuits.

Leadership & Supervision:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and mechanics within established guidelines and timeframes.
- Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring tasks are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, progress, and safety updates.
Maintenance Operations:
- Oversee the maintenance of all plant equipment, including crushers, conveyors, pumps, flotation cells, and other processing equipment used in sulfide and oxide copper circuits.
- Establish and sustain team use maintenance management software to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, tracked, performed, and resolved in accordance with maintenance schedules and safety guidelines to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
- Ensure that all maintenance work is performed in accordance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, determining the best course of action for repair or replacement.
- Reads and follows plans, material lists, and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
- Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
Safety & Compliance:
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture within the maintenance team.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, audits, and inspections of maintenance work and equipment.
Budgeting & Inventory Management:
- Assist in the preparation of the maintenance budget and monitor expenditures to stay within budgetary constraints.
- Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available when needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source replacement parts and services.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inspection reports.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance performance, equipment status, and key metrics to the Maintenance Manager.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and policies.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance equipment performance and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments, including operations and engineering, to optimize plant performance and address operational challenges.
Maintenance Technician
The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Process Operator
The Process Operator position performs all tasks involved in the processing of mined ore to produce the company’s products. This includes copper, silver and gold in flotation concentrate and copper cathode. The position follows standard work methods and practices and safe work habits to ensure production, within all of the various unit processes, is as efficient and safe as possible.
