Chris Wright

Chris Wright is the Project Manager for Milford Mining Company.  Born in Milford and raised in Beaver, Chris’ knowledge of the property and plant is beyond compare.  Chris began his career in farming and ranching.  Chris earned a welding certificate from Uintah Basin Technical College in Vernal, Utah, and his entry into mining began while he worked for a machine shop that did portable machining, which led to working in underground mines.  Chris began at Western Utah Copper in 2006 and since then he hasn’t left the property, progressing and advancing in his career in Process and Maintenance, most recently as the Maintenance Manager for Milford Mining.  Chris now serves as the Project Manager for the recently announced mill expansion project.  Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with family and searching for historical artifacts in the washes and dry river beds in Beaver County.
