Celebrating a $25 Million Investment in Milford’s Future

Milford Mining Company Utah (MMCU) has secured a $25 million conditional financing commitment through the USDA Rural Development Business & Industry Loan Guarantee Program to support planned investments in its mining and processing operations in Milford. The investment will help MMCU expand and modernize its facilities, improve efficiency, and double its copper production capacity. The expansion is expected to create approximately 100 new jobs in rural Utah, building on MMCU’s current workforce of 180 employees.

This milestone marks an exciting step forward for MMCU and the Milford community. As MMCU looks toward continued growth and increased production of copper and other critical minerals, the Fall Community Celebration offers an opportunity to come together, recognize this investment, and celebrate the opportunities it represents for the future of Milford.
