Kyle Schuerg

Kyle Schuerg is the Mining Manager for Milford Mining Company.  Kyle is a skilled mine operations leader and geological engineer with a strong background in mine planning, technical services, and operational optimization. Prior to joining us in September 2024, Kyle served as Mine Manager at Golden Vertex Mining’s Moss Mine in Arizona.  Kyle brings over nine years of progressive experience across engineering, geology, and management roles in both open pit and underground mining environments.

Kyle has advanced in his career starting as a geologist to manager, overseeing mine planning, budgeting, contractor management, and continuous improvement initiatives. He has led M&A evaluations, implemented cost-saving strategies, and directed multidisciplinary teams across engineering, geology, and operations.  His technical toolkit includes advanced proficiency in MineSight, Leapfrog, Deswik, Vulcan, and Power BI.  Kyle holds a B.S. in Geological Engineering from Montana Tech. His leadership and technical acumen make him a valuable asset in dynamic mine environments focused on efficiency, compliance, and production excellence.  Outside of work, Kyle enjoys spending time with his children, barbecuing, and exploring historical mining districts.
